Sponsoring a child through Under the Same Moon helps to pay for the educational and nutrition needs of children while they attend Bendición de Dios, which serves children in pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. Thereafter, sponsorships for older children are needed to ensure continuity of education of youth through vocational high school. 

Your sponsorship helps provide children with an education and the food and supplies necessary to complete a full year of schooling. For children living in poverty, the basic costs of school supplies can be the sole reason they cannot go to school. You are encouraged - but not obliged - to build a friendship with your sponsored child. They are eager and excited to hear about your life, and happy to share about theirs. Below we have included photos, name and ages of primary and vocational high school children who are in need of a supportive and caring sponsor.

Once you have selected the child you would like to sponsor, click on the link below their photo to complete the process. The annual cost of a primary school sponsorship is $360. The cost to support a student in their vocational high school studies is between $800-1,000. If you prefer to pay monthly, we would be happy to arrange a recurring monthly charge ($30/month for primary school, $80-100 for high school). To do so, please complete the Contact Us form including the name of the child you would like to sponsor and we will be in touch shortly.

If you’re interested and able to sponsor more than one child, we have a number of sibling pairs who are in need of support. The annual cost to sponsor two children is $720 ($360 per child). You’ll find info on these siblings at the bottom of this page.

To sponsor a child in someone else’s name, please use the Contact Us form to send us your order number and the contact information for the honoree. We’ll send them a note detailing your gift and telling them about the child whose education you’re sponsoring.
